Deacon Mercy Team / Assistance

Confidential assistance is available from the Deacons for people from our congregation and the community who need financial or other physical assistance. If you or your family has a need, or you know of someone with a need, please contact the Deacon Mercy Team at mercy@manorpresbyterian.com or through the church office at 610-869-2402.

Local Ministry Connections
THE BRIDGE The Bridge Food Pantry and Clothing Closet is located at the Avon Grove Church of the Nazarene, 240 State Rd., West Grove, behind the main church building.
Donations of food and gently used clothing items are collected at the church on Communion Sundays, usually the second Sunday of the month. Bring your donations to the church and look for the trailer by the side entrance before 11:00am.
Opportunities to serve those who are in need of food, clothing and household items, include donating items, sorting them, and distributing them on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Dinners are given out at Thanksgiving and a Christmas dinner and party is held in December. Email or call the Manor church office at 610-869-2402, or Avon Grove Church of the Nazarene at 610-869-9500 for more information, or to volunteer or make donations.
To receive services, simply go to The Bridge on Tuesday from 6-8pm or on Saturday from 10am-noon. Please be prepared to provide the names and birth dates of all household members, your home location and mailing address, and your phone number.

The House of His Creation, located outside Coatesville, PA, provides housing, education, counseling, spiritual care, and referral services for young women who find themselves pregnant with nowhere to turn.

The Parkesburg Point is a Christian Outreach center for area youth ages 10-18. As a collaborative effort with the community and the local churches, they strive to provide principles that support growth in spiritual, emotional and academic areas of life. Through supervised activities and by example, we share the POINT.
Donations of home-baked or store-bought snack items are collected at the church on the first Sunday of the month. Leave items by the sign on the kitchen counter by the church's side entrance.

Cornerstone collects donations of Dutchway grocery store receipts. Dutchway donates a percentage of the receipt totals to Cornerstone. To donate your receipts, bring them to church and place them in the basket at the front entrance.
With centers located in Gap, and at Lincoln University for campus students, Cornerstone helps women choose physical life for their unborn children and eternal life for their own souls, promotes abstinence, and heals the broken hearts of those suffering the effects of a past abortion.
