The Prodigal God

The Prodigal God Church Experience Find Your Place at the Table For six Weeks, beginning September 12th, Manor Church is taking a close look at one of Jesus' most famous parables using the highly acclaimed book by Tim Keller, The Prodigal God.

This will be a wonderful experience as we think about the people in this parable: The father, the younger son, the elder son, the people around Jesus and our true elder brother.

We are asking each family at Manor to buy a copy of Dr. Keller's book and read it with the rest of congregation for six weeks. David Tate's sermons will be coordinated with our reading of the book.

Small Group members will take a deeper dive using Dr. Keller's companion discussion guide and DVD in their groups. If you are not in a small group, but would like to get in on the conversation, join the Sunday Evening Discussion Group that will meet in the sanctuary each Sunday evening at 7 beginning September 12th and continuing through October 17th.

What should you do to participate with the rest of the Church?

• Buy a copy of The Prodigal God for your family (a reading schedule will be provided by the Church). Copies will be $10.
• If you are a small group member, also purchase a copy of the discussion guide ($5).
• If you would like to join the Sunday Evening Discussion Group, sign-up after the service for the group and purchase a copy of the book and the discussion guide.
